Long story short

I started my life journey on February 3rd 1983 in Ústí nad Orlicí. My parents Eva and František and as well my sister were eagerly awaiting my arrival. Even as a small baby, I was "a little hyperactive", a trait that has stuck with me to this day! In 2012 I got married with my more beautifull half Petra and our daugter Victoria was born in 2013. In 2019 our son Benedikt was born.

After a happy and free-spirited childhood and the completion of elementary school in Letohrad, I continued to study high school in the same town. Thanks to my sport results and my focus toward sport, I was given the opportunity to undertake an individual study plan which helped me graduate in 2004. At that time, I had already medalled at Junior World and European Championships in Biathlon - the sport I had trained for since the age of ten. Initially, I was a member of the biathlon club KB OEZ Letohrad, but upon leaving the junior category I switched to SKP Kornspitz Jablonec nad Nisou. Since the 2004-2005 racing season, I have taken part in almost every World Cup, World Champs, and Olympic competition.

My laptop keeps me company during my travels, aiding my passion for website development and graphics. In my free time I am constantly pursuing the adrenaline rushes of BASE jumping, skydiving, scuba diving. Because of lack of free time I had to postpone other activities like climbing, or whitewater kayaking. I wish I had more time to put into these extreme sports, but biathlon requires most of my time and energy. I also enjoy mountain biking, rollerskating and other "cross-training" sports, but I consider these part of my regular training regiment, and they don't spike my adrenaline like the mentioned before.
